Elevate Clinicians was founded by Jami Smithson, LPC, CCTP, C-PD to fill a gap she experienced firsthand — there was no dedicated platform connecting clinical supervisors with residents seeking supervision.
The Story
The first platform built for the supervisory relationship
While therapist directories like Psychology Today exist for clients seeking therapy, there has never been a comprehensive platform designed specifically for connecting supervisors with residents. Elevate Clinicians changes that.
Finding the right clinical supervisor is one of the most important decisions a resident can make. The supervisory relationship shapes not only clinical skills but also professional identity, ethical development, and career trajectory.
That is why we built a platform where supervisors can showcase their practice, and residents can search, filter, and connect directly — no barriers, no middlemen.
The Problem
Residents rely on word-of-mouth, outdated lists, or luck to find supervisors. Supervisors lack a dedicated channel to reach residents. This disconnect slows careers and limits access to quality supervision.
